Robert G Willoughby LLB – Partner

(Admitted 1992)

Robert joined the firm in 1992, becoming a partner in 1997. Robert’s areas of practice include crime, being a member of the South Durham and Darlington police station and court duty solicitor schemes. Robert’s other areas of practice include conveyancing, personal injury law and civil litigation.

Liam PD Brison BA – Partner

(Admitted 1996)

Liam joined the firm in 1994 and became a partner in 2000. Liam’s main area of practice is family law including care proceedings and he is a member of the Law Society Family Law and Children Panels. He also holds Criminal Litigation accreditation and is a member of the Darlington and South Durham police station and court duty solicitor schemes.

Samuel J Brewster LLB – Partner

(Admitted 2004)

Sam has worked at the firm since 2002 and became a partner in 2010. He specialises in criminal law, dealing with cases from the police station and magistrates’ court through to serious Crown Court matters. Sam is a Solicitor Advocate (Higher Courts – Criminal) and he is a duty solicitor for the South Durham and Darlington police station and court schemes. Sam’s other areas of practice include family law.

Marie Barker LLB – Assistant Solicitor

Marie joined the firm in 2005 as a trainee solicitor, subsequently qualifying in 2007. Marie is an understanding family law solicitor who will deal sensitively with your case but also give you straightforward and honest advice. Marie also practises in the area of crime. She is a member of the South Durham and Darlington police station and court duty solicitor schemes.

Clive W Booth LLB – Consultant

(Admitted 1976)

Clive founded the firm in 1982 as a sole practitioner undertaking a range of legal work, both private and legal aid. The founding philosophy of providing a personal service to the local community has been maintained by the partnership. Clive has a wide experience in dealing with cases in the police station and the criminal courts; he has been a duty solicitor since the schemes commenced. Clive continues to undertake work in other areas of law particularly wills and probate, conveyancing (residential and commercial) and civil litigation.
