Rebecca Haswell is a solicitor at CW Booth & Co.

Rebecca deals exclusively with family law representing clients in various aspects of
family cases, predominantly the breakdown of marriage or relationship and financial
matters, guiding clients through the legal stages of divorce and assisting them to
reach a financial settlement. Rebecca has a particular interest in law relating to
private law children matters including contact, prohibited steps, residence and
public law children matters such as PLO and care proceedings.

Rebecca also advises on related issues, in particular separation agreements,
cohabitation matters, change of name deeds, endeavouring to simplify the process
for clients. Her experience also includes non-molestation and occupation orders, and
grandparents’ rights.

Rebecca will seek the best outcome for her clients and does not shy away from
robust representation of a client’s case in court where necessary. However, she will
strive to adopt a conciliatory approach focussing on achieving out-of-court
settlements where this is achievable, recognising that sometimes it is necessary to
prioritise non-financial aims such as the welfare of any children involved. In all
disputes, there is a balance to be struck, and Rebecca strives to provide well-
considered, down to earth and practical advice to achieve the best outcome.

Rebecca prides herself on being clear about costs, keeping clients updated
throughout their matter and providing excellent client care.
